Turn wood into silver.

New UVMax® Metallics give wood the look of metal.  So you can turn MDF (medium density fiberboard) into silver – or copper or bronze.

Get the look of metal at the cost of wood and get all the benefits of UV powder coating.

*Metallic UV cured powder coatings are formulated to meet the customer's color and performance standards.  Color and affect variations are to be expected due to variability in the positioning of metallic flake in the coating.

UV powder application and conditions may affect the positioning of the metallic flake in the UV powder and may cause variation in color and texture of the finished product.  Viewing conditions such as light source, viewing angle, and viewing distance may influence visual appearance of the finished metallic coating.

With UVMax, it’s easy to get seamless coverage on curved shapes and pre-assembled parts. There’s no need to worry about wrapping or edgebanding. Even 3-dimensional (3D) surfaces get smooth, consistent finishes.

Take a look at our gallery to see some examples of work we’ve done.

Stain-resistant, scratch-resistant UVMax components stand up to the toughest conditions with no chipping, cracking or peeling.

The UV-curing process creates a cross-linked polymer bond for a finish that will endure frequent cleanings and heavy traffic and still look good, month after month and year after year.

VOC-free, PVC-free UVMax is an environmentally safe alternative to paints and vinyl laminates.

UVMax powders contain no solvents, so they’re naturally VOC-free.  And there’s no need to worry about the PVC issues associated with vinyl laminates.

All UVMax components are made from 100% recycled content MDF, certified by the Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI).

If you ship products to California, there’s no need to worry about the California Air Resource Board’s (CARB’s) new emissions limits when you use UVMax.  All of the MDF used in our products complies with the new regulation.  And all components we finish will be shipped with the necessary chain-of-custody information you’ll need since the regulation became effective January 1, 2009.

Because UVMax is naturally green and energy efficient, there’s no additional “green premium” or added costs.

UVMax isn’t just the easy green alternative – it’s also the affordable choice for building environmentally safe products and furnishing LEED-certified environments.
