DVUV, LLC is the innovator in UV-cured powdercoated finishes for wood and other heat sensitive substrates.

What do we do?

DVUV combines advanced powdercoating chemistry and UV-curing processes with over three decades of experience in finishing wood and medium density fibreboard (MDF) to deliver innovative finishes.

Our UVMax® UV-cured powdercoating for MDF opens up new design possibilities by delivering brilliant, durable color that provides seamless coverage over curvilinear shapes, contoured edges and three-dimensional surfaces.

Why do we do it?

We're passionate about developing the best finishes possible for wood and MDF. For us that means using chemical, technological and manufacturing innovations to create surfaces that remain beautiful even with high-traffic use and can be applied without damaging the environment.

Recognizing the benefits that UV-curable powders provided for coating metals, we were determined to make UV powdercoating a reality for wood also. In 2000, we opened the first UV powder line for wood in North America. Over the past eight years, we’ve refined the process and taken the lead in evolving the technology, expanding the range of UV powder finish possibilities for wood.

How do we work?

We make finished pieces to order, providing turn-key production from drawing to finished parts. Once a customer gives us a drawing and finish specifications, we work with our network of MDF mills and CNC machining companies to source materials and finish them in our UV powdercoating facility.

Each customer and every project is different but we bring the same quality commitment to every job. We understand the realities of budget pressures and tight schedules. We know that we can’t be successful unless our customers are successful and we work with our customers to tackle challenges and find solutions.
